Audio Book - Kids Love Listening To Great Stories
Kids truly love stories. And kids adore it when somebody takes the time to tell or read them a fine story. They usually have one or two favourite stories which they like to hear nearly every day. That’s good, because it allows them to continuously develop the images in their head that go with the story and to make use of their own imagination.
Some parents do a truly great job helping their kind to develop their creativity and to allow them to have stimulation other than from TV. Others are unfortunately not aware, how important it is to further this ability of imagination, invention and mental images. Video games and TV may be very parctical to keep kids busy and out of your feet, but they are not really helping the development of your kids mental abilities.
“I don’t have time to read stories to my kids” you may say. That’s truly a problem for some parents, more so if you are working at a job and if you have to take care of all the household chores after your regular work hours. That however does not mean that you can not stimulate the brain of your kids with interesting stories. Fortunately, there are many excellent recordings of childrens novels and stories for kids on the market. These audio books mp3 come either on CD in physical format or even more convenient, free books for kids can be downloaded from the internet and you can then either play them on your PC, burn them to CD and listen to them on a regular stereo or on your car audio system, or they can be directly played on an MP3 player.
The beauty of this is that many of these kids stories can be found for very little or even no money at all! The offer of audio books with kids adventure stories is very hughe and you are sure to find the audios that contain stories that your children love best.
Roald Dahl Books - Some of the more well known authors and stories are i.e. Roald Dahl and his series of very famous and popular stories like i.e. “Fantastic Mr. Fox”, “The Witches” or “Danny the Champion of the World”. These are the stories kids love. They are taken out of a fantasy world but contain parts that the kids recognize from their own daily life. The descriptions of the people and scenes where the action takes place are detailed enough to provide the kids with a good base to start, but then the author leaves plenty of room for their own imagination. A good tale well told is really ‘cinema in the head’!
Step back a few moments and shut your eyes. Now try to recall one of the stories that you were told when you were still a kid, or if nobody told you a story (how sad…) try to remember a book you read then. Normally you will experience that a combination of images and even feelings will pop up in your mind and you are taken back into a long forgotten imaginary world.
Make sure that your kids will be able to do the same when they are a bit older, help them nurture one of the most important faculties, creativity and fantasy! With a good kids audio book you can wake up mental abilites that will be important for your kid the rest fo their life …. and you will have a lot of really happy quiet hours yourself, as the kids will listen to these stories over and over again.
